Make your own charcuterie board!
You asked - so i’m delivering! My most popular item, now comes in workshop form!!
In this 2 hour class I will provide you with all materials and instructions to create your very own custom charcuterie board! No prior clay experience is neccesary.
Please note this is in person in Seattle, WA in my home studio and exact address will be sent after signing up for the class.
We will use my slab roller to roll out a slab and you can choose from speckled or plain white clay. We will then decide on shape and size and number of wells before cutting and hand forming our boards.
various surface decorating techniques will be demonstrated for those who want to add words or texture to customize their boards.
Students will be given the option of speckled or plain clay for their board as well as can pick from a variety of glaze colors.
Students will be contacted once their item is ready to be picked up, about 4 weeks after the class.
Class Includes:
a beverage of choice
Choice of speckled or white stoneware clay
choice of glaze
various textured rolling pins and letter stamps
Use of all tools needed during class : canvas, sponge, needle tool, exacto knife, ruler, metal rib tool, clay slip, paint brush
firing service of 1 piece
20% off any retail items purchased day of class!
*if time allows, you may use your scraps to make an additional piece at the rate of $20/piece
*Please note that this class is non refundable but you may email me to reschedule into a different class up to a week prior!
Due to the nature of this craft, imperfections may occur and not all pieces will survive multiple firings in the kiln. This is all part of the beauty of learning a new craft!
