Nerikomi Inlay Workshop
Learn how to do inlay with me! No prior clay experience is necessary.

In this 2 hour class I will provide you with a colored clay, tools, and instructions to create one of a kind patterned ceramics using the inlay technique. Please note this is in person in Seattle, WA.
In this class I will show you handbuilding techniques and how to make multiple different inlay patterns in our clay. Examples include soap and jewelry dishes, and small plates and bowls! I will fire everything and glaze with a clear glaze. You will be able to pick up your pieces aprox 2-3 weeks after the class. Masks are optional and can be provided if need be. Please wear warm clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Bring whatever you may like to drink. I also have a fridge full of bevys that you are welcome to:)
I also offer students 20% off any unit65 pieces purchased day of class!!
Class Includes:
600 gr off-white house stoneware
3 x 100 gr colored clay
wooden sticks
wire clay cutter
various shape cutouts
white cloth
sponge
needle
firing service of up to 2 pieces.
* additional pieces may be kept and fired for $10/piece
