Private Party Inlay ceramics!
You pick the day! This private class is good for up to 6 people. For more people choose from the options below:)
Learn how to do inlay with me! I like to think of this as collaging with clay. Not a ton of instruction leaves for more time to get in the zone and play! No prior clay experience is necessary.
Colors can be selected by the person organizing the party to make it special! all photos are examples of either past students work using this technique or pieces i have made using this technique! :)
In this 2 hour class I will provide you with a colored clay, tools, and instructions to create one of a kind patterned ceramics using the inlay technique. Please note this is in person in Seattle, WA.
In this class I will show you handbuilding techniques and how to make multiple different inlay patterns in our clay. Examples include soap and jewelry dishes, and small plates and bowls! I will fire everything and glaze with a clear glaze. You will be able to pick up your pieces aprox 2-3 weeks after the class. Masks are optional and can be provided if need be. Please wear warm clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Bring whatever you may like to drink. I also have a fridge full of bevys that you are welcome to:)
