You pick the day! This private class is good for up to 6 people.
In this 2 hour class I will provide you with all clay and instructions to create one of a kind ceramics. This is great for a group of friends, a date night with other couples, as a bachelorette party- you name it!
In this class I will show you various handbuilding techniques to make your ceramic dreams come to life. Examples of things we can make in this class are mugs, pipes, ashtrays, soap dishes, bowls , plates, planters, and mini bud vases.
I can show you various handbuilding tecniques like slab building, pinch pots, slip and scoring, adding texture, and using hump molds to create one of a kind ceramics.
The private party includes 2 pieces per guest and additional pieces may be fired and glazed for $10/each.
Guests will have the option of white or speckled stoneware and can pick between 3 different glazes for their pieces- to be determined prior to class!
You will be able to pick up your pieces aprox 3-4 weeks after the class.
Please note this is in person in the Culver City neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA in my home studio and exact address will be sent after signing up for the class. Please dress for the weather, and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dusty from the clay.
